Better known as Crater Lake, this lake was formed 7, 700 years ago due to the volcanic collapse of Mount Mazama. Located in the Klamath County, Oregon, this lake is the deepest lake in United States of America. It is also called as the “Blue Lake”.
One of the main striking features of this lake is it’s blue color and also no river or any other water body flows in or out of the lake.

I got a chance to see this beautiful deep blue lake along with my friends and I was mesmerized by this serene water body and the scenic beauty around it. I spent some great time capturing the photos of the lake and went hiking to see two waterfalls inside the National Park – Plaikni Falls and Vidae Falls.

Here I am sharing some of the pictures that I clicked on my visit to the Crater Lake National Park. Definitely a must see place !

Your welcome..it is indeed a very beautiful place
What a beautiful place!!!
Yes
This place is quite lovely. In fact, it is quite a nice motorbike ride from Seattle and back. Also…your little pic reminds me of Simon Says game, or the blue cheerio of death on Win OS.
That’s so nice
Though I have never been to Seattle, I can imagine that the ride should be definitely beautiful
Wow! Amazingly beautiful
